Then, at that time, the Bhagavān, having dressed himself in the morning, took his bowl and robe, and entered Śrāvastī, the great city, for alms. Having gone through Śrāvastī, the great city, for alms, and having returned after the meal, he put away his bowl and robe, washed his feet, and sat down. Having arranged his seat and sat cross-legged, he straightened his body and established mindfulness in front of him. Then, many monks approached the Bhagavān. Having approached and bowed their heads at the Bhagavān's feet, they circumambulated the Bhagavān three times and sat down at one side.
