바즈라(산스크리트어: वज्र) 또는 금강저(金剛杵)는 인도 신화에서 브리트라 등의 적들을 물리칠 때 인드라가 사용하는 번개 형태의 아스트라이다.[1][2][3] 또한 바즈라는 불교, 자이나교, 힌두교 등에서 주로 영혼과 영성의 견실함을 나타내는 상징물이기도 하다.[4]"

29. 威儀寂靜分
“須菩提. 若有人, 言如來, 若來若去, 若坐若臥, 是人不解我所說義. 何以故, 如來者, 無所從來, 亦無所去, 故名如來.”
(Subhuti, if any person were to say that the Buddha is now coming or going, or sitting up or lying down, they would not have understood the principle I have been teaching. Why? Because while the expression 'Buddha' means 'he who has thus come, thus gone,' the true Buddha is never coming from anywhere or going anywhere. The name 'Buddha' is merely an expression, a figure of speech.)
((Whosoever says that the Tathagata goes or comes, stands, sits or lies down, he does not understand the meaning of my teaching. And why? 'Tathagata' is called one who has not gone anywhere, nor come from anywhere. Therefore is he called 'the Tathagata, the Arhat, the fully Enlightened One'.))
