독일어에는 남성, 여성, 중성명사 3가지가 있다. 그리고 주어, 동사, 정관사, 부정관사, 형용사, 목적어가 모두 변화한다! 범어와 같은 구조를 보인다! 독일어와 범어는 거의 문법이 같다고 볼 수 있다!

 

 

필자는 독일대학에 입학하기 위한 독일어 어학과정과 전기공학, 독문과 강의를 들었고, 기감학(radiaesthesie)을 뮌헨(muenchen, munich)에서 공부하였다. 5년반 정도 사는 동안 독일어를 썼다.

 

 

옥스포드 범어사전에서 독일어를 보고는 놀랐다. 독일의 쾰른(Koeln, cologne)대학에서 방대한 옥스포드 범어-영어사전을 전산화하였다. 그 이유를 금방 알게 되었다! 독일어의 어원이 옥스포드사전에서 발견되는 것이다! 

 

 

영국은 18세기 중후반에서 19세기말까지 100년 동안 식민지 인도말을 옥스포드대학을 동원하여 아날로그 방식으로 엄청난 시간과 인적 물적자원을 투자하여 범어-영어사전을 만들었고, 독일은 IT시대에 발맞추어 사전을 디지탈화한 것이다!

 

 

우리는 선진국이 왜 선진국인지 알 수 있다! 자신의 나랏말에 어원이 발견되면 100년동안이라도 사전을 만들고, 그 사전을 디지탈화하는 그들의 생각을 배우자!

 

 

우리 말의 많은 음소(音素)들을 범어(sanskrit)에서 찾을 수 있다! 영국, 독일 사람들 덕분에 필자가 우리 말 음소(音素)의 뜻들을 찾을 수 있는 것이다! 우리나라도 영국-독일 같이 우리 말의 어원찾기에 각계각층에서 나서줄 것을 부탁드린다!
